so I have found this really fun app ... its called MORFO ... it takes a photo of you ... you line up your eyes, nose and mouth and it makes you move .... and speak ... you can record yourself ... like this ...

its weird isn't it! just wish I had something worth saying!!

I would love to see any you make ... let me know if you have this app/get this app and make some funny ... or should that be 'weird' messages!!

Dilly-dog is such a cutie ... I just had to share this photo with you ...

Happy Wednesday everyone!
This months challenge was to make something with BIGGER ... I have made something with BIGGER materials ... crochet a bag in material rather than wool ...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE it ... I do need to line it though so my treasures don't fall the holes :)

can you believe its nearly time to carve pumpkins, build bonfires and if you haven't already ... put on some boots! I wore boots for the first time yesterday ... all summer I have been living in my fit-flops or ballet pumps, but last week my feet were beginning to feel a bit chilly ... so yesterday I bought a new pair of winter boots ... I do love boots ... and these ones are so comfy and warm!

sorry they are a funny angle ... taking a pic of your boots while wearing them is not that easy!

So how is your Christmas shopping coming on? I have got about 1/3 of my of mine sorted so far ... and I have started some that I am making ... I haven't seen a Christmas tree up yet, but my cousin said she has seen one in Debenhams Cafe last week.
(this is from last year ... but I thought I would remind you what a Christmas tree looks like!!)
... and just in case you are wondering there are 62 days till Christmas ;)

I have been so busy with work and tired with this never ending cough, that I feel like I am behind on everything ... I had so many projects and things I wanted to do this Autumn and I am only now feeling well enough to think about doing them ... I think I need to write a list ;)

Also don't forget if you want to join in with AdvenTea, there are a few packs left :)

well I am off to watch a film and write my list! see yas later x

last week end I dug out my paints and had a play ... and a little spider popped up in all my paintings ... Sidney the Spider ...

Its been ages since I did some watercolour ... I have decided to keep my sketchbook out and see if any other little animals come and visit me :D

I am really pleased with how they have turned out, and so have made them into a few goodies in my shop.
First I made them into greetings cards ...
my favourite is the Christmas one ...
... and here is what I made on Sunday ... greetings cards, magnets, badges and compact mirrors ...

... isn't he sweet! I have so many more ideas for him!

just a little treasure to share this week ...
this sweet little dish was only 99p, it has no chips or cracks but the gold is a little worn, but that just adds to its sweetness! ... it is perfect for my dressing table :)

Herefordshire

next weeks photo is busy working.

I went to stay with my Gran a couple of weeks ago ... she is so amazing ... she is 92 and yet still going strong ... when she does spend her day in the chair she thinks she is being very lazy !!

I have spent my life watching the walls of her home being covered in paintings that she has done. Her father was an artist ... he painted the beautiful Bygone Beach Days paintings that I sell. Gran though was in her 50's before she started painting properly and she has been a member of the Tunbridge Wells Art Society since then.

When I was there, I snapped some shots of some of her paintings.

This is one of my little brothers when he was a toddler ...
... This is my eldest brother, it hung at the bottom of her stairs for the whole of my childhood ... great hair cut there Robin!!
I love this painting ... it is of Florence, Italy ... it hangs in her downstairs toilet and she painted it when she went to visit my Uncle, who was working there for 6 months when he was young.
Not sure where this is ... but living in Kent, where there are lots of trees, so it could be anywhere!
.... same with this one ... no idea where it is.
I love this painting too ... makes me feel very peaceful.
Oast house somewhere in Kent!
and this one is hanging in her spare bedroom ... the colours match the room perfectly :)
I hope you like her paintings as much as I do :)
I have been a little internet absent this last week ... this is cos I have been dying ... well not dying but feeling really really rough ... and all because of a cough!! it has been horrid, my whole throat has swollen up and I'm not able to lie-down or sit up without coughing for about an hour :( I know I am sounding very sorry for myself but its a horrid bug ... and typically its the week I start doing lots of extra hours at work as someone has left and we don't have enough cover at the moment. I have only had it for a week so far ... my brother and sister-in-law who I caught it off have had it for a month :( I am hoping I can kick it quicker than that. It has been so frustrating as I have so many thing I want/need to get on with and I haven't been able to get on with anything :(

... anyway, I have managed to watch Snow White and the Huntsman ... I really enjoyed it ... apart from (stop reading if you haven't seen it yet) ... I know they are wanting to make a sequel, but I found the end a bit unsatisfactory ... nothing was resolved between Snow White and the Huntsman ... did she know it was him that woke her? the magic of his kiss waking her was never explained ... but that said it was beautifully shot and its a DVD I will be keeping .... and obviously Chris Hemsworth is nice to watch ;)

Before I caught this cough I started making some Christmas cards ... some thin ones that would just be letter thickness in the post ...

I also wanted to remind you about AdvenTea ... are you a tea lover? fancy joining us and trying some different teas this Advent?
There are only 6 packs left if you would like to buy one, or if you want to buy your own teas and join in, here is our tea list.

You can join us on facebook or on our blog.

I am hoping I will be feeling a lot better next week and can get on with some lovely projects I have planned ... hope you are all well and happy x
