you make my phone ring more than anyone else

you dream the same dreams as me and have made them come true

you make me smile

you put a ring on my finger

you make me safe

you are my best friend

you give me the seat with the best view at the cinema

you encourage me

you are my soul mate

you made me want to live

you make me beautiful

you make me complete

you made us a home

you make me a cup of tea in the morning

you make me laugh

you look at me like no-one else

you make me want to be a better person

you are the one!
it's that time of year again, where the shops are full of goodies and gifts ... here are a few bit that I would love!

I have wanted a compost bin for ages, and this would look great in my kitchen :D ... you can never have too many Cath Kidston mugs and I am loving these mushrooms ... and I would be very happy with any of Emma Bridgewater's Christmas range ... just look at the owls!!
its time for a new dress and this Fat Face tunic would fit in my wardrobe perfectly ... I love Robin Mckinley books, curling up on a comfy sofa lost in a book sounds like a lovely way to spend a winter evening.
I have been after a macro lens for my iPhone ever since I saw one a year ago ... I know I would use it a lot :)

what are you dreaming of this Christmas? To be honest though if I didn't get any presents I would still be happy, just being with those I love will make it perfect!
back at the beginning of September, Steve bought me these beautiful roses. I took photos as I always do, wanting to remember the beauty of them. I then put the photos on here, on my blog, but didn't get round to publishing them ... I'm not sure why!

the last few months seem to have totally blurred into one ... I have felt quite emotional and had had some ups and downs ... I feel like I haven't stopped and everything is piling up to be sorted but it will just have to wait.

I guess no matter how much I am looking forward to our future and can't wait to start our life together properly, its change ... I don't feel anxious about it, but its change.

boxes and furniture piled up in one house and wood, plasterboard, tools and a whole lot of dust in the other ... driving a 50 mile round trip just to do some work there is tiring too ... but its so good to see the end is in sight ... rooms looking like rooms and the views still take my breath away!

it's taking all our thoughts, its taking all our energy ... Steve and his dad have been working so hard all year ... when we move in, it won't be completely finished ... there will still be some bits to do, but we will be in and not only can we have the fun of sorting out where things go, but Christmas is just around the corner and a cabin lends its self to a Christmassy-dream!!

it's funny, when you have waited for a change in your life for so long and then it happens, and its a good change, and you are happy ... you still have to adjust, you still have to process it ... no matter how much you are going with the flow ... there was the before and there is the after, but at the moment I am in the in-between ... its at the end of the in-between and I still feel as unprepared as ever, but its all good

we have been so blessed with bargains, freebies and generous relatives ... I know we couldn't have done it without them ... I am so looking forward to showing photos on here once we are settled in and giving you a sneaky-peek in our lovely home :)

there are times in your life for crazyness, work and play, times for sadness and  for love, times for adventures, times for unsettledness, times for taking chances and times for going with the flow ... heres hoping that the next chapter of my life will be a time for nesting and a time joy.

there is a rose bush outside the front door ... its been there for 30 years ... its had building going on all around it and yet it is still in bloom ... it's the middle on November and it still smells sweet ... it is beautiful dark red and I hope its there in another 30 years!

I still can't believe how blessed I am and I need to remember to step back and enjoy every step, every moment and smell every rose!

have a happy Sunday everyone x
I have always dreamed of an apple green and pale pink kitchen and with moving in to our cabin just a week or so away, my dream is coming true!

I have made the curtains already out of some pretty Clarke and Clarke Tilly material. Between the kitchen-diner and living room is an archway ... to keep warm in winter I am making a curtain ... it will probably be open most of the time, but in the winter we may need it. I wanted something slightly different for that curtain, but its from the same range by Clarke and Clarke so the colours match perfectly :)

I have been selling hand painted china at the craft fairs I have been doing this autumn and thought I would paint myself a butter dish in pinks to match ... I am really pleased how it turned out ... it feels very summery!

here are some other bits I have bought recently ...
owl mug :: Dunelm Mill
pink plate :: Ikea
glass jar :: B&M
large chopping board :: Ikea
green bowl :: Ikea

... as you can see I had a good trip to Ikea last week :) I went there with my mum and sister-in-law, and saw lots of lovely  bits I wanted and so my lovely sister-in-law got me some glass bits for Christmas ... I now have to forget I'm getting them so they will be a nice surprise! haha
oh, this is going to be such a lovely Christmas ... I have never looked forward to Christmas as much :D
Steve and I have got some great buys from local facebook pages and these are a couple I got today ...

this bathroom cupboard was a bargain £3 ... she originally had it listed for £5, but it hadn't sold so said 'make me an offer'. I picked it up this morning from down the road. I am going to wash it and paint it white.

and this kingsize quilt is new and worth about £90. It is lovely and thick and will be great for extra warmth in the winter ... £20 and was delivered to my door!!
(sorry not a great photos as its from the listing ... it is all packed away so will take a better photo once its out on our bed)
