week 21 ... 2 weeks in one again, sorry I am very behind with my blogging :/ this was taken early in the morning on Monday 19th
week 22 ... and this was taken today so 12 days apart, you can see how the leaves are now fully out!
here are some odd photos that I have taken over the last month ... pretty much all of the dogs! ...
excuse the state of the rug, its where Timber lies and he had been shedding fur in clumps!! Its a lot better now as his summer coat has come through :)
Dilly-dog loves sunbathing and the decking is a her favourite place to catch those rays!
Timber prefers the shade though, I think its all the wooly fur he has, and he lies like this all the time ... anywhere!!
there are usually birds on the decking or the feeders all the time and where as over the winter it was mostly blue tits, we now seem to have loads of chaffinches! ... Steve has since bought me a telephoto lens for my birthday, so I should get better photos than this!
I do love it when the dogs are sleeping and this is such a sweet photo :) oh and do you like our new railings that Steve built?
bye for now!
well not really, but I was spying on Timber and our wild kitten ... they have become the best of friends ... the kitten is pretty skittish and although has let me pick him up once, he runs away as soon as Dilly shows up as Dilly is too manic ... but Timber is a calm dog and just lies there. We have been watching them in their friendship from a distance, as if the kitten sees us or if Dilly realises he is there and wants to play, then he runs away. So these photos were taken through the door one evening ... sorry about the muddy door, the dogs paw at it when they want to come in, so it never stays clean for long!
it was dusk out there, so I have lightened the photos up so you can see a bit clearer but its made our inside look very orange!!
I think this is my favourite!
and before you ask, yes the cat is trying to hump him, not sure how I feel about this ... but my baby doesn't seem bothered!!
week 19 ... I took this last week but never got round to blogging it as I have been busy in the garden and painting some new designs ... look at all the leaves!!
and this was taken today ... week 20 ... notice the sheep!

Dan Brown DECEPTION POINT
I really enjoyed this book much more than the last Dan Brown book I read. This fast action 24 hours follows the discovery by NASA of a huge meteoroid full of giant lice ... proof of life in space!? I liked the characters and was intrigued as to where the story was going to go. It was very typical Dan Brown though ... I think I need to read something a bit different next as the last few books have felt very similar. I would recommend this book though, would make great holiday reading!
just to warn you ... there are lots of photos in this post!!
It was my birthday yesterday and my brother was up for the weekend with his 2 girls so we went to the
Small Breeds Farm and Owl Centre in Kington ... it was lovely weather and I got a bit carried away taking photos!! ... again ... but there were so many lovely owls and animals to snap!
as you go in, there were owls you can stroke and this fella looked so proud!
this is the one I fell in love with though ... I asked mum if I could have an owl for Christmas and she said 'yes, as soon as I find an owl shop!!'
He was so soft (mum and steves hands there!!)
in another room they had some baby ones ... one totally looked like a fur ball but he was hiding in the corner and my photo didn't come out of him ... but this one came right up close :)
this one had been born that day so shares my birthday!
out side in the farm there were lots of birds, swans, ducks and geese.
and some funny looking animals!
and I am still wanting some pigmy-goats ... these babies were soooooooo cute!
and in the owl part there were many many beautiful owls.
back at the entrance we said good bye to the owls that welcomed us ... he is still my favourite ... so could have taken him home!
before getting distracted by the cute duckling :)
and we came home to a lovely buffet tea and as you are never too old for your mum to make you a cake, my mum made her best ever and guess what ... it was an owl!!
