It's my best friends birthday today ... but she is more than my best friend ... she is my sister ... I, who wanted a sister all my life, have now had one for 12 years! She married my brother just so I could have a sister (haha .... it had nothing to do with loving him!)

I was thinking of putting up some embarrassing photos of her, but to be honest there are not that many ... she is so photogenic, she just looks great in them!

So instead I am going to say 'Have a really lovely day and I wish I was there to share it with you ... have a lovely time with your mum and enjoy the take-away that I am sure you will be having ;) .... love you loads'

This is actually quite hard as my bestest friend is incredibly photogenic and so there are LOTS of lovely and beautiful pictures of her .... so this is one of my favourite ...
I am lucky and have a few best friends, including my mum, but Bex is my bestest and I am seeing her later today :) first time since before Christmas x

Tina is one of my very best friends ... I have known her for years ... she is one of those best friends who know everything about you and love you anyway ... I love her to bits. This autumn Tina started a college course doing floristry which she is loving.

We were planning to meet up before Christmas, but due to the bad weather and both of us not being well it kept getting postponed, but last Saturday we managed to meet up! Yey! I haven't seen Teri for 5 years, but it was lovely as it was as if no time had passed at all!
We met up in Manchester ... 2 hours away by train for me and 1 hour for Teri ... we had lunch out, did a bit of shopping, went for a lovely cuppa, did a bit more shopping, and then had a lovely meal before getting the train home.
... the first thing we both bought was a couple of bracelets that were on sale (the way we like them!) Teri's is the teal one and mine is the copper one.
I used my Christmas money and treated myself to a pretty bag from accessorize ... perfect for the summer!
... and also from accessorize, this pretty lace scarf, which I think I will wear to my brothers wedding later in the year.
I even managed to get a bit of crochet done on the train ... I have managed to finish one row of hearts ... I have been doing other things over the last few weeks so not picked up my crochet much ... I did run out of wool on the train though as only took the little bit of wool that was left on the ball with me as I didn't want to carry round more than I needed .... more space for shopping!!!! hehe

I got a cool app for my phone at the beginning of the month and have made myself a weemee family & a few friends! here they are!

Well I am on my way home ... on a train watching the lovely British countryside go by. None of the seats had their reservation slips in the top and a guard has just been round putting them in .... he has just been on the tannoy apologizing for putting them in the wrong carriage! hehe

Well my long awaited holiday starts today .... I am Cornwall bound to visit some friends and have a few days. At the moment I am on the train .... has a plug for my lap top and phone (I like trains that do that!) but the free wi-fi is crap and doesn't work :(

The weather is lovely and as I love traveling I don't mind having to change so many times! I am missing Dilly already though!

am just past Exeter and it feels like the track is on the water ... I always love this part of the journey. The sun is shining on the water and it is sparking in my eyes. My phone doesn't seem to grab the magic though :D


Oh Cornwall ... here I come! ...

My beautiful best friend got married today. She asked me to be her witness about 6 weeks ago and I really really wanted to go and be there with her, but I just couldn't afford to get there. I am so glad they had lovely weather though :)

We went to Brighton this morning and had lunch out ... pumpkin risotto and bought a pretty note book for my journal :)


Also spoke to my friend in hospital. She has lost the baby, but she is so positive ... I am so pleased (not about the baby obviously) but that she is so positive ... I have been so worried. I am so glad that I talked to her, she is hopefully getting better ... I still feel so far away ... wish I had a transporter.

I had a best friend when I was a child who was very special ... we only lived near each other for a few years and when I moved away I was heart broken ... we would write to each other every week, but being only 12 and moving so far away over the years we lost touch.

Since I joined facebook a few years ago, I have been searching for her and guess what .... today I found her and we became facebook-friends :)

I am so happy


this was us when we were about 10 ... we really were bestest friends!

my little Goddaughter was born today ... she is so sweet and I went to the hospital to meet her ...


she is called Annabelle and is so sweet, I love her already.
