nuts and rainbows

Today I had a new experience ... I went foraging ... picking nuts from the trees in the park .... and got a whole bag full!





Mum came too and picked a tub full of blackberries ... when we got home I weighed the nuts ... 4lb's ... it did then take and hour and a half to de-leaf them! but it was worth it and I am looking forward to munching my way through them ... I have started already!

I had a lovely time on Tuesday at my cousins house ... spent some time with Paige, his little girl, making pictures ...

This picture had all weather ... sun, stars, moon, clouds, rain, lightning and a rainbow
so I quickly whipped out my phone and snapped a shot of the rainbow
... I have a craft challenge for August ... to make a rainbow, so I thought I would link up with Paige's beautiful drawing :)
