time for tea

Taking the time for a cup of tea is my new favourite thing … I drink a lot of tea each day but usually while I’m on the go, grabbing a swig when I pass, as it sits on the side getting colder. This last month I have been making a conscious decision to take a moment to find a quiet corner and sit and drink a hot cuppa. That few minutes of pause in what can feel like a non-stop day has done so much for my mood and mental health. When before I felt like I had no time to stop, I have realised that when I get back up again, I get more done! Giving myself, what is often only a few minutes is enough to make a difference!
