Life Lately

June has flown by and I feel like I haven’t stopped. We are in the process of giving Jack his own room, the boys are currently squished together and although they have loved it, they are ready for their own space! Our little wooden home doesn’t have a loft to store things in so the room he’s going to have has turned into a dumping room with Christmas trees, clothes for him to grow into, and odd bits I don’t know what to do with! On one side of the room is a lovely big dresser that has been home to a lot of my craft supplies ... this has now been moved into my work room (it is a bit of a squash) but I have given it a fresh coat of paint and it fits! In it has been all my craft books, folders and patterns from years ago ... It has been so nostalgic looking through it them all. I spent so much of my time when I was younger with them, it’s like finding an old friend! There is still a lot of work to get the rooms done but we’ve made a good start!

Steve got his mum a box of craft supplies from Marketplace and in among it was a diamond art set ... I have had great fun making it up and found it very addictive!! unfortunately 3 of the colours are missing, so I have had to order them and I am just waiting for them to arrive to finish it. Have you tried it?

2025’s tomato crop is ripening ... so far just a few that I have eaten direct from the vine, but I can’t wait make some oven roasted tomatoes. Check out my comments for the recipe and I will add it to my stories/highlights.

What have you been up to this month?
Oh and how cute are my boys school photos? Bill looks so grown up and jack just has the cheekiest grin!
