I am just loving this wool ... its so soft, although I wonder if I am going to have tiny hairs all over me when I wear it!! I was pleased with how fast it has grown ... this is what I managed to knit last night ...
... this is the back ...
... and this is the front ... you can just see the beginning of the diamond pattern :)

ReplyDeleteOh wow you've knitted it so quick! I started a chunky jumper before xmas but it's not very portable (I tend to do most of my knitting on the bus on the way to/from work) so it is in my UFO pile in favour of the more portable sock knitting I'm currently working on. Can't wait to see it finished! :)

DeleteI watched a video on youtube about knitting socks on 2 circulars instead of dpns and it makes so much more sense that way to me. I'm a relatively novice knitter and I've done alright with them - had to frog a bit of the ones I'm doing right now tho as I'd made a mistake on the heel flap...will try and take a photo later :)

you really should when you have time, cos when it grows so quickly it is very satisfying, but it may be better to start with something like a scarf!!
