I have been making alphabet magnets for years ... making words ... making names ... but they have mostly been floral, pretty, shabby chic and girlie ...... I got asked to make a set for a lady at work ... for her little Grandson ... so that was today's job ......
I tried to make them fun colours ... I hope he likes them!
Mum's sewing machine went up in smoke last night ... the smell of burning was horrid ... there was no flames, but it smoked for ages ... it has only recently been services too ... but as mum says, its been used every week for 25 years ... I did offer her mine to use while hers is being checked out ... just hope it wasn't her 'sparking' personality that set it off (yep bad joke I know!)
